Brakes Plus complaint
On 2/19/08. I brought my Nissan Frontier SE 4x4 (38K miles) to Brakes Plus located on Araphoe/Yosemite St. Centennial, CO. I told them, I want an oil change, please look at my serpintine belt (noises), please check my brakes. They changed the oil no problem. They then showed me a printed out document from ALLDATA stating that squeaks from my belt are a known issues and are NOT covered by warranty and that the belt tensioner and belt need to be replaced for $180.00, they then stated that my brakes were in good condition 50% in front and almost 100% in back (good news). But then stated that my tire wear was indicating that my struts and shocks needed to be replaced for $506.00 then alignment for $48.00. This seemed extreme, so I called a Nissan Dealership they stated that my belt tensioner was under warranty til 60K miles and that since they needed to replace it they would only charge for the belt itself and no labor for a total of $16.00!!!! They stated that they would also inspect the struts and shocks for free and even stated that seemed very extreme with only 38K miles and they laughed...

Brakes Plus just lost a good customer.
